Artis Driving
Artis Driving School ® offers best in class behind the wheel (in-car) and classroom driving instruction, driving lessons and driver education for beginning teen and adult drivers. The school is fully compliant with state requirements for licensing and certification. It is a member of the Driving School Association of the Americas (DSAA), the Florida Professional Driving School Association (FPDSA) and the American Driver and Traffic Safety Education Association (ADTSEA).
Artis Driving School ® is one of only two schools in Florida that is an approved (pilot program) driving school by the American Automobile Association (AAA). It is also a member of the National Safety Council (NSC).
The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FDHSMV) is responsible for regulating professional driving schools. Each school must have a valid operating license issued by the FDHSMV. Each driving instructor employed by the school must have a valid license issued by the department and each vehicle used for instruction must be registered with the department. These licenses are renewed annually with a complete criminal background check completed for each instructor annually.
