EXCEL Driving Instruction, Inc. serves the growing driver education needs of young people and adults throughout Northern Indiana. By providing experienced instructors, our students receive first-rate training, helping them develop life-long habits of safe driving. Excel offers comprehensive driver training at times convenient to both students and parents.
Students can choose to take their classroom hours in any of our four locations: Michigan City, Plymouth, Rochester, or Valparaiso.

Program Basics
As required by Indiana law, EXCEL offers 30 hours of classroom training plus six (6) hours of behind-the-wheel training using dual controlled, late model cars. EXCEL's on-the-road instruction covers residential and urban streets, rural highways, freeways, parking, and turning. Students are given a practice drive test at the end of the course to help them obtain their driver's license. Excel participates in the State's "waiver" program for drive tests.
